The same highschool shit!

Where I’m from growing up there was always a huge tension between subcultures. It’s pathetic highschool bullshit like this that really gets me down on the world. I tend to keep to myself these days, I’ve never been one to go out of my way to cause trouble. I got my friends and thats all that really matters, dodging eyes when your shopping kinda reminds me of growing up where I have, I guess some people will never give up on petty shit and will always look for trouble and find pleasure in victimizing others because of their differences.

all I know is I will never be what someone else wants me to be I’ll always be myself.

It’s been a while

It’s been a while since I last posted on this, I guess I just didn’t have anything to write or couldn’t put what I wanted to say into words.
Since hardcore my life has been a party every weekend hitting it pretty hard, smashed a few to many brews the night before Bad Religion and NOFX, the week that followed was the longest week of my life thus far. I just felt like shit & haven’t been drunk since.

The last couple of weeks have been chilled out with a couple of shows thrown in. SYM was a bit of a let down this year blkout were amazing though I really dig this band & Miles Away Killed it. Saw Terror a few days later and was once again siked on shows, it was a last minute decision to go and I’m glad I did Samsaras 1st show with the new front man I really didn’t know what to think. I’ll have to see em a couple more times and get used to it. Scott Vogel is the man I love it when bands go on rants to get people siked, Hardcore still lives.

Got my ticket to Wu Tang yesterday cant wait for the show its going to rule.
thats about it from me for this post I really don’t have anything interesting to say at the moment.

Its been a while since my last post, I’ve tried to write a few times but my mind has just been blank. a thousand thoughts, but unable to put them into words.

my head’s all over the place at the moment full of highs and lows.

I recently turned 23 and for the 1st time ever I haven’t been to enthusiastic about getting another year older. at one stage I got pretty bummed out at the thought of it among other things. It turned out to be a good birthday though.

I think its time to catch up on broken newyears resolutions & break routine to start fresh would be good.

Work life is traveling pretty good. had allot of quotes coming in & have been putting in heaps of overtime. Also recently got a raise.

Currently watching Entourage & am keen for the new season of Dexter.

HARDCORE 2009

Just got back from the Hardcore 2009 weekend, the shows were fun but what made this weekend better was the hangs.
I stayed in a hotel on King Street in Newtown within walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted and needed with two of the best dudes I could have hung with.
The weekend was full of pranks, good food, music, Brodowns, shopping and catching up with some friends from interstate along with making new ones.
We arrived in Sydney on Thursday night and were ready to party from the get go, we raged hard into the early hours Friday.
The shows were great, it was really great to see Iron Mind get such a  good response from the crowd and the AA show was also Bad Bloods last show so it was good to see those guys one last time.
Nate from Cruel Hand is the spitting image of my brother, it was so funny to see someone rocking out looking like my bro because my bro and I have a big difference in taste when it comes to music.
Friday night was a killer party at Oxford Arts Center even though my feet were killing me from all the walking we had done through out the day.
Sunday night was probably the best hangs of the trip met up with some other mates from Melbourne , got food, shopped, then just chilled out at their hotel smashed brews and went swimming in the hotel pool.
My 2nd trip to Sydney this year and the good times just keep on coming, glad to be home now back in Melbourne but definitely miss the hang outs, Its Tuesday and I’m already keen for the weekend.
